This page provides a general overview of payment options, financing availability, and build policies for custom Blackbird Tiny Home projects. All details are reviewed during a one-on-one build consultation and outlined fully in the build agreement prior to the start of any work.

• Consultation fee: $199. A one-hour build consultation is required before moving forward with a custom build.
  Used to review goals, budget, timelines, and build feasibility
   
• Credited toward your build if you move forward with a signed contract
   

• Build contract agreement must be reviewed and signed
• A 50% deposit of the total build cost is required to:
  • Begin active build work
  • Secure your build slot in our schedule
     

Payments made prior to reaching the 50% mark are applied to your build; however, construction does not begin until the 50% threshold has been met.

The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to delivery or release of the completed bus.

We offer multiple payment options to provide flexibility while keeping build pricing fair and transparent.

• ACH / bank transfer (no processing fee)
• Credit and debit cards (processed through our website)
   

• ACH payments: No fee
• Credit & debit card payments: A 2.9% processing fee applies
   

Processing fees are passed through to the client and apply to each transaction.

For qualifying clients, we offer a limited in-house build payment plan. This option allows clients to make progress toward their build over time rather than waiting to pay the full amount upfront.

• In-house payment plans still require 50% of the total build cost before active construction begins
   
• Payments may be made monthly, with the option to make additional or larger payments at any time
   
• Build progress and scheduling are tied to payment milestones
   
• The full balance must be paid prior to delivery
   

This is not traditional lending and does not involve third-party financing.

In-house payment plans include a one-time administrative fee to cover extended project management, scheduling, and payment processing. Details are discussed during the build consultation.

• DMV taxes, registration fees, and related costs are not included
• DMV fees vary by location and are the responsibility of the client
   

Clients may pick up their completed bus in our home city.
Pickup assistance from a local airport or bus depot  is available by arrangement.

Any travel costs associated with pickup are the responsibility of the client.

Delivery options are available for an additional fee and may include:

• Blackbird driving the completed bus to your location
• Coordinating third-party transport
   

Delivery options and costs are discussed during the consultation and confirmed prior to completion.

Due to the custom nature of our builds, deposits and payments are generally non-refundable once work has begun. Limited cancellation options may be available early in the process.

Specific cancellation terms, non-payment policies, and project abandonment conditions are outlined in the build agreement provided prior to the start of any work.
